Kane Williamson came to New Zealand's rescue once again and steadied the ship in James Neesham's company.

Chris Morris rattled the New Zealand top-order, picking up four wickets early in the day.

Chinaman bowler Tabraiz Shamsi dented New Zealand by dismissing Williamson in the 21st over.
